A woman letting go of a thirty-year marriage

If it hurts… Stop.

This is me:

  • a Canadian woman living in the fabulous city of Toronto
  • a mother of three boys that inspire me and make me proud
  • honored to be an autism mom
  • in transition from wife-to-ex-wife
  • passionate about working in the non-profit sector

Choosing My Own Well Being was conceived from my desire to process the issues and emotions I face as I leave behind a long marriage to a man I still love and learn to act in my own best interests.

It’s a pleasure to read your log and follow your journey. I too am currently going through the process of becoming an ex wife to a man I have loved most of my adult life.

Thanks for reading and sending your comment. Your “Shopping” post resonated with me… on our good days, we do shop together and plan for our lives apart. My husband has never really had to be responsible for himself and I think in a way he’s excited about the idea of being in charge… he has a lot to learn (as do I but different from him) and I do wish him well. Such a little boy…
